If you can (sort of) ride a bike, without wobbling off into the bushes then this is the class for you.
This class will help you to understand your bike, how it works, and what it can do for you.
I will teach you how to use your gears, brakes, ride in a group with others, turn corners, drink from a bottle and general basic skills to start you off on your cycling journey.
The first class is starting March 12th and it will be an afternoon class starting 16h30 and each session is 60 minutes. Please bring your own bike and equipment, and a helmet is mandatory. Remember, you must be able to reasonably balance and ride a bike to join this class.
This is a group class – if you miss a session you cannot make up the class another time. Classes are held at Mira Townhouse Community for the first two sessions and thereafter on the cycle path. The class covers gearing, cornering, braking, riding as a group, feeding/drinking while riding, passing techniques and more.
